A comfortable hotel at a good price in an expensive city
It is a nice hotel, not very luxe, but that you can see in the price. We went with the metro, very good. Most staff was nice and helpfull. Everything was there, good bed, bathroom, tv, and coffee Good for 3 nights
you could not get hot water for tea or your own coffee, on the site they say thar there are coffee and tea fascilities, but only coffee and you had to buy that by the reception
The staff are helpful, friendly and knowledgable. The Hotel is very clean and the bedrooms are well appointed and very tidy. The cleaning was caried daily to a very high standard. The breakfast is good. The Hotel is ideally located, just on the outskirts of the City, where bars and restaurants are that little bit cheaper, yet, outside the front door there is an excelllent bus and/or tram service, which connects to most places you would want to go. The Metro(Underground) station is about 6 minutes walk away. Excellent staff, excellent facilities, excellent location and excellent value for money.
Nothing - ideal hotel and location
Correct service. Also flexible: breakfast as normally not included for me, and moreover I wanted to have breakfast at 11h while the breakfast time was only until 10h, but still the lady allowed me to have breakfast and only charged me 2€ because I only had cereals.
The room for single travellers was incredibly small. According to Booked.net, city tax was included, but the hotel charged me 3€ city tax anyway.
Extremely ungracious staff, non-smoking room smelled of tobacco, the rooms are very small, not very clean.
Near to tram stop. Nice rooms, always well cleaned.
I would expect wi-fi connection to be standard in 3 star hotel but it was paid (and not really cheap). I got injured in Milano and when I asked the receptionist for plaster, they didnt have it. Hotels should definitely be equipped with first aid kits, at least basic.
Descent hotel, good value for money. Will suit those who flies in Milan quite late and needs a one-night stay.
Parking is quite expensive, though very convenient: it is located in the basement of the hotel.
The hotel was comfortable and refreshing for me after months of hostels! The service from some of the staff was fantastic! But a few of the staff were rude and unfriendly.
Price/Benefit advantage, close to center, convenient.
Wifi connection is restricted to only one device for only 24 hours. At an age where one travels with a laptop, a smart phone and eventually a tablet device, this practically means a restricted access to internet. The marginal cost of allowing internet access to the "customer" and not restrict it to a single device is practically zero. The inconvenience created to the customer with the present system is however incomparably high.
The fact that it was relatively cheap for a 3 star hotel.
You can hear literally everything from one room to another and the maids are extremely loud.
Small hotel, close to metro, near supermarket and 2 good small restaurants.
Nice Hotel . Value for money.
no free wifi although my reservation was mentioning a free wifi . Maybe there was free wifi but it was difficult to communicate with the desk because of their poor english skills
location is ok . and there are many restaurants in the location.
single room very small and bathroom not suitable for men---too small breakfast was ok but if you were not down before 9am most of the food was gone. you would not sit at the bar and have a drink " too depressing."i like to relax after working all day. but a lovely bar and restaurant next door. need extra pillow in room.,no glasses or coffee facilities in room. these should be standard in all hotels and all countries
Staff were friendly and most importantly spoke English fluently lol which was vital to us ignorant non-Italian speakers. Our room was clean and tidy and the bed was excellently comfy. The shower and bath were great as well...definitely exceeded a 3 star standard room service wise.
The location was a bit far from the subway, it takes about 10-15 mins just to walk from Hotel Mec to the Lodi fss Subway station and its a long walk, so tie your shoes and get ready for the long journey. Lol.
Clean and quiet
Totaly not helpful staff. Far from historic center at least 15 minutes from closest tube station and no good link with transport means
